- Payment details: billing address and payment information (processed via Apple Pay and Google Pay)

When you use the Services, we automatically collect certain information, including:

Profiling and Automated Decision-Making

NimeScan uses cookies and similar technologies (such as web beacons and pixels) to operate the Services, analyse trends, and deliver personalised advertising. You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings or, where available, our Cookie Preferences Manager.
Your mobile device may also have settings that allow you to limit or opt out of tracking for advertising purposes.
5. Social Media Logins
The Services may allow you to register or log in using third-party social media accounts (such as Google or Facebook). If you choose to do so, we will receive certain profile information from the social media provider, which may include your name, email address, profile picture, and other information you make public on that platform.
We use this information only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. We do not control and are not responsible for how your social media provider uses your information. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies.

Under certain privacy laws, the sharing of personal information with advertising partners for cross-context behavioural advertising may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. You can opt out by emailing support@nimescan.com or enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser.

NimeScan is operated by Vision Tech B.V., based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. We and our service providers may process your information in countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction.
Where required by law, we provide adequate protection for the transfer of personal data by relying on adequacy decisions, executing Standard Contractual Clauses approved by relevant authorities, or obtaining your explicit consent. 8. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, complete transactions you have requested, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and for other legitimate business purposes. When we no longer need your personal information, we will delete, anonymise, or de-identify it, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
9. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no security system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children below these ages. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us at support@nimescan.com so we can promptly delete it.

Verification

If we deny your request, you may appeal by emailing support@nimescan.com. If you remain dissatisfied, you may contact your local data protection authority or state Attorney General, as applicable.
12. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
NimeScan honours browser-based opt-out signals, including Global Privacy Control (GPC), where required by applicable law. If your browser or device sends a GPC signal, we will treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising.

Vision Tech B.V. is the data controller for personal data collected from individuals in these regions.
Your Rights
In addition to the general rights described in Section 11, you may also have the right to:

Relevant supervisory authorities include the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (Netherlands), the European Data Protection Board (edpb.europa.eu), the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk), and the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (edoeb.admin.ch).
